FOTD + re-introducing the nerd behind the blog!

I've been flicking through blogs, and they all seem to have a little something-something explaining who they are, their quirks etc- therefore, i have decided to make a video addressing similar things! So here's the viddy-wideo! (youtube is being too nice to me and uploading quickly..hm...watchthisspaceformoaning!)

Moving onto my First ever face of the day- no biggie!:O z'omg! 
So, today, i decided dramatic eyes and nude lips are the way to go for me in these harsh months! (obvs not for just popping down to tesco..but for big days/nights out!). I am a true believer in one thing at a time, and emphasizing facial features is no different! Fuschia lips must be paired with a toned down eye etc, or you'll risk looking, gasp, like a drag queen. And i don't even think drag queens want to look like drag queens:/ 
ANYWAY, the whole one-thing-at-a-time rule is a good'un to abide by, so yeah! My FEFOTD (first ever face of the day)- drumroll puhleaaaase!




Face
Bourjouis Healthy Mix Foundation in 51 - Light Vanilla
Collection 2000 Healthy Minerals Powder in 003 - Natural Beige 
One of the blushes from my NYX all i've ever wanted palette 

Eyes
No.7 Mini Beautifier Kit eyeshadows (middle and darker one, and the pale one for corners)
MUA eyeshadow trio in chocolate box (the mid brown/purple one)
Covergirl Lashblast mascara

Lips
Collection 2000 creampuff matte lipgloss
Natural Collection generic-coloured pale pink lip gloss

Hair
just shampooed and conditioned, left to dry naturally, as normal:L lol, bit simple!:)

    Thanks for your comment! And about advice for outfit posts, take them infront of a wall so attention is drawn to the clothes more. I got a tripod for a tenner and I bought a remote for my camera and it's so much easier to take them now! I edit mine on picnik.com cos my cameras not brilliant so it makes them look a bit more professional :) hope I helped! Good luck :) x
