Updown girl! ;)

Hair- down to there, down to where?! It starts by itself, weeell it starts by itself! I tell you, Glee reruns will be the death of me!:P
Anyway, i know i used uptown girl as my blog title the 'tother day, but i thought, theres enough uppity to go around!
So my project for today, was hair.
Updo? Downdo? Dye it blue?! ITS SO HARD TO BE A GIRL AND HAVE LONG HAIR aosijobsvnjdajk
Moving on, i googled celebrity updos, and i was agog. Woweeee, i mean, i don't have a personal stylist, but i'd LOVE for my hair to be like these...

I loooove how it can go from casual thrown up look, to just wow! Merrrhh, also, updos tend to look good with a fringe (or bangs depending on where you're from), so i'm considering buying one of those clip in bangs? Like llymlrs did...only not to fool my readers :P
So, opinions?! Favourite updos?

OH and this is a pet hate of mine:
la mushroom hairstyle. Mushroom colour- yes. Mushroom print- yes. Mushroom hair? NONONONONOONONONONONOONO. Basically, no.
Whitney, i love you, you are beautiful, but you look like you are wearing a mushroom on your head

Sooo, that's todays low maintenance, picture heavy post...sorry for vagueness, had a stessful day:/

Ciaou beautifuls!

smoke and mirrors

Well howdy there m'lovely lasses!
So today, as i've been busy with school, i thought i'd tackle an issue that i have with the glorious season of Winter. Yes, i love the scarves, mittens, hats, coats, boots etc etc, but the one thing i had above all things, is colds. i dislike the runny, sore nose, and on a shallower note, the red patches on my upper lip from constantly swiping at my nose with a kleenex. Eurgh. I went in search of an answer. I consulted my age old Beauty Book (published circa 1998), which, despite loving it most dearly, is severely outdated. It told me to find green foundation/ eyeshadow and put it on the red spot. I, being open minded, decided to try it this evening (you know those moods when you just fancy playing with makeup?! i was in one!:)  ), then, in accordance with my book, i applied my foundation normally on top.
Oh dear oh dear.
I looked like a grinch//human hybrid. It was truly awful.
The lesson in this, was to never put anything green on your face to combat redness. I don't really mind if Diana used this trick on her wedding day, the  method given was totally wrong.
So...how can we beat these red nosed days? (see what i did there? haha)
Answer is, we can't. We have to accept them as a part of out culture. However, it won't quite stop me from trying. So I turned to the trusty vaseline, the one with aloe vera,  waited for it to soak in, and put on my foundation. However, there was an awful oily residue left on my skin, and it looked like i had serious upper lip-sweat issues. Eugh.
So i have settled at this conclusion- just putting foundation over the top will not, i repeat, will not work. However, a healthy slick of vaseline, followed, after about 15 minutes, with a dabble some loose powder, should do the jobby. YAYAY!

Anyway, moving on, i thought i'd give you the results of my oil experiment..DUN DUN DUUUUN!
So, today, i had to deal with the awful oily look of my hair, as i ran out of time to completely rinse it out this morning, so when i got home, the first thing i did was shampoo the bottom of my hair, where i'd put the oil. I dried it naturally, and...woah. Like, genuinely, this stuff is awesome. I've had minimum flyaways and my hair is super sleek. Awww, happy days!:') Changed my parting around a little earlier, as it's just something i do to pass the time, so i took some rather funny faced pictures in my jamas! (Winter= thermal, matching jamas. oooh yeah! smooooooth;)) SO, here are some of my...well, here are some!

Haha, enjoy! Enjoy the remainder of your Mondays

Milk bottles..

Alas, no, dear readers, i am not referring to those odd but scrumptious little sweets.I'm referring to the colour of my skin this morning. Lookie look look look!

Please excuse the pose and the uniform...For some reason, my shirt looks blue? :$
ANWAY, this is me this morning. My hair was still wet from the washing out of the oil, so i thought i'd put my now sumptious barnet in a loose fatplait. Yes, fatplait - just a plait, that's fat Amen.

I'll post later once i've returned from schoolio!
Later m'lovelies!

Dawn of the...?

Good morning beautiful readers!
Again, the title has a hidden meaning..whew! It's like being in the Da Vinci code, on a lesser, less deadly and much less scary // daunting scale.
Anyway, my life, or at least my hair//make-up routine, are beginning to seem a little (dare I say it! haha) lacklustre.
I was watching St Trinians last night on the tellybox (anyone else tune in!? Aww, so much love for that film!), and my favourite scene in the entire film came on- The Makeover Scene. It's fantastic. I, personally, love it.
So there i was, my bowl of apple pie and ice cream in hand, and munching happily, in my rather mouselike manner, and BAM! There it was! The wake-up call i needed!
Lately, adventurous is the last word that comes to mind when i think of my day-to-day makeup. I'm not insinuating that i'm going to go out with power-pink lips and green mascara (as i only possess the first..thankfully?),however i am inspired!
I, secretly, loveloveloveLOVE the Posh Totties, and i'm going to try that one out! Just seeing the makeover scene made me remember the width and depth that can be explored in the world of makeup! And i'm rather tingly and excited now! YAY!

On another note, i'm just off to wash this oil out of my hair:) hopefully, fingers crossed, it'll turn out just as lush and soft as i'd hoped! I'll keep you posted (haha).

Just one last thing, i added a view-counter-y thing yesterday, and i'm so glad i did! It makes me so happy to know that someones read/reading my little blog! N'awww! Please don't hesitate to comment etc- much love!

Happy Monday!<3

Body Shop Monoi Miracle Oil

Not the most imaginative of titles, granted, however, i've just had a shower and combed my hair, and had a revelation.
I found some Spa Wisdom Body Shop Monoi Miracle Oil in my potions and whatnot cabinet today, and figured, hey, why not give it a go?
On the website, it claims the following: This fragrant oil is inspired by Polynesian spa rituals. It can be used as a body moisturiser, massage oil, bath oil or hair conditioner.
  • For body, bath and hair
  • Scent of gardenia and coconut
This fragrant oil is inspired by Polynesian spa rituals. It can be used as a body moisturiser, massage oil, bath oil or hair conditioner.

Well, i can certainly tell you, it smells very fresh and floral- so i'm definitely getting the Gardenia. Just saying, my product is quite old, so is called something slightly different, however, same product, same price etc, just from before they relaunched the product. I shampooed and conditioned my hair, then combed it through with a large tooth comb, then got a palmful of product (which is quite liquid, compared to the viscous substance i was expecting! good surprise though:)) and , for want of a better word, jujjed it through my hair. Just ran my fingers through it, to ensure that coverage was even etc.
I smell fantastic, as of this product. As my hairs still wet, i can't quite speak for it's results yet, but it certainly feels very silky and sleek..plus, no natural-dry frizz so far! Can't be going far wrong!

Concerning price, it can be seen quite pricey, at £10 a bottle, but it's one of those bottles that lasts for ages and ages and ages. My cousin bought a miniscule bottle of almond oil for her hair, at £16, and it's still going now..3 months on. So, buying a oil for your hair / body is quite a commitment as it's going to last an aaaage, so you best invest wisely (and like the smell). So far, i'm enjoying this greatly, and although i can't actually remember buying it (probably a present from yonks ago!:L), it's definitely worth the money, and the luxury smell and just velvet-y smooth feel of your hair will speak for itself! I'll post up my results tomorrow morning!

What's your favourite hair oil?!

BTW, i'm aware hair oil has been around for donkeys yeaaars, but i'm just cottoning on now! And i'm glad i have! yum!

OH! If you want to check it out, click here. For those who are very Well, is it a highly rated product?! (don't worry, i am too..), it's 4.8 stars of 5. Need i say more?

beauty hit list 001

I'm sure this won't be the last beauty hit list i produce, as i'm always watching other beauty blogger's videos/ reading their posts and thinking hmmm...should i? shouldn't i?

Anyway, here is my beauty hit list for the next..i don't know how long! I'll post as and when i get these products, however, some of them are a leeeeeettle pricier than others, so saving will be required!

Mac Lipstick in either:
♥Creme Cup
♥Shy Girl
♥Creme d'Nude
(each £13.50)

Urban Decay Naked Palette (£32)

Urban Decay Lip Primer Potion (£13)

Barry M Lip paint in (you guessed it) 101 Marshmallow (£4.49) Can you blame me for wanting to know what all the love/hate hullabaloo was about?!

Make Up Academy (MUA) Bronzer in shade 2 - heard a couple raves, and a couple rants - let's see if it's worth the whole 100pennies it will cost.. (£1.00)

Make Up Academy Blusher in Shade 4 - looks like quite a glowy, bronzed blusher, would love to see if it can even compete with my beloved Tarte Amazonian Clay in Dollface (£1.00)

MUA Professional Eye Palette in Heaven and Earth (£4.00)

Any form of Concealer - any suggestions?

Aaaaaaaaaand that's it for my first Beauty Hit list - with a grand total of...£68.99 ...not bad reaaaaaally.

BTW, the one's with s next to them (bar the lipsticks...any of the 3!) are the one's i am getting most flustered about!

xo

Please forgive the mysterious title, and multiple posts today, but i'm ill, bored and all fired up for a mega blogging sesh!
Anyway, 'xo' is basically my homage to gossip girl, who instantly fills my rather cotton woolly at present, mind with fashionistas, privilege and the love of my life, Ed Westwick. (I can dream eh?)
ANWAY! A few of my current major style crush's are as follows:
♥Mischa Barton
♥Blake Lively
♥Leighton Meester

Mischa Barton, for me, is just...wow.
♥I pulled this from Google Images, and O M G.
Starting from the left, the black-and-leopard ensemble makes me think of those edgy days when you just want to turn heads, and this definitely would do it. And the hat=yummy..although, possibly a little too Thompson & Tomson from TinTin for me, but the boots are a resounding yay.
The 2nd look (blazer, suede shorts, brogues and aviators) is so autumnal it hurts. All brown and pretty, its very scholarly come stylish - ScS?! New trend methinks!
Third outfit is very happy&hippy and i have a rather soft spot for it. Throughout summer, i went through a total hippy phase, which, although i think has passed, my soul still yearns for tie-dye. This answers my soul's call.. ;)
Finally, my favourite look overall, of the four, completely, utterly and irreversibly. Those suede shorts from the 2nd look, a creamy pink-ish colour pussybow blouse, and peep-toe brown leather wedges. iodoiaallAFVKJGIbuigjkf. This = love

This is before Blakey dyed her barnet a rosey-gold colour, which, although i adore, i always love her blonde, Cali-girl locks. Her style in this is flawless, all muted and understated, but a bit of extra pow in the tartan style tights. Oh Blake, where oh where did you get that coat..??

Need i even say more?!
Why can't i just be you?! Jokes, but..seriously...i want need her wardrobe.

ooh! *confession time* on a day to day basis, i google image Leighton Meester to see what hairstyles she's rocking..for reference..

BTW pulled these image out of the metaphorical hat which is google images, i don't own these :)

Enjoy the rest of your sunday's m'lovelies!

Uptown Girl...bags?

Diclaimer - i don't have £300+ to spend on bags, this is just sharing with you lovely ladies my favourite bag trends for this season...i'll probably find a less bank-breaking version somewhere and post about it!

Juicy Couture Classically Couture Shoulder bag - ASOS - £308
This bag, for me, screams celebutante style. The bag is, in true JC form, stunning and versatile. Can't say much more, or i'll begin to drool...

Vivienne Westwood Leather Small Envelope bag - ASOS - £330
Vivienne, my love, you have done it again! Designed and produced something just so beautiful it brings tears to the eyes of the beholder. How very spectacular. I LOVE the use of the signature VW orb, although, the price...not so much...

Mulberry Bayswater Bengal Tiger, Oak - John Lewis - £1787
Ok, priciest of the bunch, but GASP, it's so beautiful! Look at the distressed chestnut colour leather, in the most stunning shape, but with a bang on trend twist..woah. Although, deep down, i'd rather spend my pennies (if i possessed such a plethora of pennies..), on Louis Vuitton, who is my favouritest bag brand ever. Ever. This Mulberry comes close. However, finding a close replication of this on the high street will be, dare i say it, too easy. Watch this space.

So there you have it, my pricey dream team of bags. One day... ;)

Sunday's child

Awww, look at this post title, all arty & pretentious:') bless! haha.
anyway, i'm poorly. sux2bmeh right? No! (the slang was to illustrate my point btw:P)
I'm obsessed with Charlene Soraia's cover of The Calling's Wherever You Will Go (aka the twinning's tea advert song!) and i bought it yesterday, and have already racked up like 30 plays...oh dear...
Also, i'm currently munching // slurping on some Ben & Jerry's cookie dough, which is one of my top ice creams of all time...mmm!
So, i'm currently in the proccess of trying to redecorate, and i reeeaaally want to get a nice blog title (like the pictures on Pearls and Poodles, Dizzybrunette3, or just some pretty type a la Sunday Girl or Viviana Does Makeup) so- readers few and far between, do you have advice for me? :)
The rest of my sunday will consist of me feeling sulky and sorry for myself (as, as stated, i'm poorly) and eating, watching some tellybox and obsessively checking the blogs of many many people.
I'm also eagerly awaiting the results of many-a-giveaway- exciting right?! Garrrr, should i jump on the bandwagon? They seem to bring in subscriber's and give an oppurtunity to brighten someone's day- yay or nay to the idea?!

On another note, i'm starting to really feel the amount of work it requires to move house (helping mam out is not something i begrudge, but yknow- schoolwork etc and packing will be quite a tense experience..) but i can't wait til everything's done! yay!

Also, on Friday and Thursday i was performing in the school production of a rather muddly and disturbing Dracula. I had really heavy makeup on, and i'm starting to get spots from the weight of it! Eughk! So i'm going to deeeeeep cleanse tonight...the lovely lassy who did my makeup for me (beauty blogger being done up by someone else? unheard of?! ;) :L) was lovely! She used some lovely colours on my eyes (all from the UD Naked Pallette - i'm sooo tempted to buy ASAP!) and on my lips, a No7 lipstick called Champagne - it was lovely and nude-ish, but i think that may've been because i was orange at the time.. -.- Anyway, the show went reaaaally well and i was sad to say my farewell's to my costume..however, i've now got my friday and tuesday nights back, and that feels goooood!
And that is todays post done!

Musings..

This was taken at a mid-week sleepover with Maisie at my house- we had a MASSIVE dress-up session, teenager what? ;)

001. considering changing the name of the blog- i intend to blog for aaaaages and i just don't think that lilalost.blogspot.com has that certain joi de vivre?
002. i've been so busy over the past couple days, with the productions of Dracula- it was brilliant, but now i'm soooo tired! haha.
003. I'M MOVING HOUSE! yayayayayay! i chose some paint today, a rather nasty toss up between Almost Oyster (a pink-y beige) or Button Mushroom (a lovely creamy colour, with an edge..)...Button Mushroom won! I can't wait to get it painted - i'll post pictures ASAP!
004. it's sooooo close to Christmas! OMGGGG! i love christmas so much, as you can probably tell...But 8 days until my bff (and cousin)'s birthday- so i'm proper birthday present internet browsing atm! She'll be 17- any ideas?

Some reviews coming you're way soon! Thankyou for reading lovelies!

Confession the 1st

Some SHOCKING news...brace yourselves...i have never, in my whole lifetime, been into LUSH.
It seems like so many people rave and rant about it, i can hardly believe i'm just catching on! I'm sure now the penny has dropped, i'll be hit by a barrage of yummy smelling soap-and-candle-and-moisturising urges, and i'm rather exciting.
T'is truly a sad life i lead! But oh well! haha
ANYWAY, any Lushaholics out there? What products should i beeline for?

Tuesday 22nd November '11

So i've been youtubing some of the tracks off Rihanna's new album - my favourites at the moment are Farewell and We All Want Love. They're the soppier less dancier tracks on Talk That Talk, but they definitely grab your heart strings and give them a good old tug.. :')
ANYWAY! I haven't posted aaages for many reasons- power cuts over the weekend, family visiting etc.
But i come at you this wonderful morning with a picture of me- kind of a FOTD thing...but not, obviously, i don't want to jack no style! ;) :p

My Rihanna-esque snarl - google image it!

What am i wearinggg?!
Eye - a swipe of Covergirl Lashblast mascara in Black//Brown
Cheeks - Tarte Amazonian Clay Blusher in Dollface (a close, more pigmented shade to GOSH's electric pinkblush), and a dabbling of Collection 2000 bronzer
Aaaaand that's it makeup wise.

OH! I'm trying to thicken my eyebrows to get a shape a la Aria in pretty little liars. So far, it's going well...i don't look like Wolverine just yet!

Clothes// accessories wise, i'm wearing a blue Levi's shirt (t'was a bargain!) and a leather plait bracelet, which was 95p from a craft fair on saturday, where i also bought mittens and a big neon green woolly dinosaur..if you have seen Toy Story you will understand why, when everyone was laughing at him and noone wanted him, i bought him. Plus he's quite cute to me! Anyway, i thought the bracelet was quite androgynous, which i like as it's quite a versatile piece and has quite a muted presence. I got it in a beige-y brown, a toffee toned nude (inner  artiste here!) and i've worn it non stop!

Anyway, what do you think of Reggie the dinosaur?! ;)

Thursday 17th November '11

Sorry being skipping my post yesters,
I had a verrrrrrrry stressful day! Anyway, today, i'm reviewing, not makeup, but...shower gel?!
Really, lila?
Well, this is slightly unusual, but my mum brought me some yesterday, and i love it. It's Original Source Raspberry and Vanilla Milk shower gel, and it's amazing.
It may be little sweet for some tastes, and there isn't really much depth (well, you smell the raspberry first and then the milk) but i like it for many reasons. One, it reminds me of those red and white soother shaped sweet (that i once almost choked on at a Brownies pantomime field trip..oopsy daisy! it was quite fun having like 4 Brown Owls rushing over to ensure i was ok though:L) and it's very very softening. It also looks good, which, typically, is my issue with shower gels. The box is pastel pink, yellow and black. It sounds a bit odd, and it is, but it just works, and looks good on the shower shelf.
So yeah! Overall a very good shower gel that i'd recommend :)

On other, pressing, matters, my contract on my beloved, but broken for weeks HTC Legend runs out (or can be swapped/upgraded) on December 12th. HALLELUJAH!
Buuuut, now i'm faced with the phone market, and i'm a little intimidated.
The phone market seems a lot more scary than it used to do, and i'm kind of perturbed because all the tech seems much more advanced *blush*. Anyway, currently, i'm torn.
There a couple phone i've looked at, and these caught my eye....

Ok, i know what you're thinking, ITS SO PINK ! But it's girly and sweet..and how sweet it would be to get a call, and pull this beauty out of your pocket! Woah!

So, it's either this or an iPhone- any advice?!

Tuesday 15th November '11

Gooooooooood morning bloggers!
Well, as i'm writing this, i'm watching the sky change from a light lilac blue, to a dusky pink, and it's just beautiful. And it's inspired me. I don't know how, maybe i'll create a similar eyeshadow look (errrr, maybe) or maybe today i'll just see everything as poetic and enchanting. Truly divine.
Anyway, another reason that i'm up so early this morning, is that i am going to curl my hair. Not ringlets or anything, think more Aria a la Pretty Little Liars (favourite show EVER!). As my hair is super thick :/ it takes forever!
In all honesty, i only discovered i could use my curlers yesterday morning, as i had previously failed to understand them, and placed them neatly in the bottom of my wardrobe to be forgotten about. Until now.
They are amazing! They're by babyliss, and they're red with a thick base and they work really really well.
Only downside is that they don't have an on/off button, so i just have to leave them in at the wall, but no matter! I would plug them into a donkey to use them! (bit of a hyperbole, and only if it wouldn't harm the donkey in any way)
i'll post pictures later!
happy tuesday!

Love list 002

Well, it's been about 203058789209875986 years since i last love listed it up, so i thought i'd casually second it!
Basically, it's 3 things which i just...well, as previously said, will sell my soul for. If anyone's interested in the trade, let me know! ;)
First is this beautiful beautiful bag! For me, it is the love child of beauty and fashion. mmm. It's designed by Mischa Barton, and produced by Germaine, a lesser known bag designer. Hopefully (fingers, toes and eyes crossed) i'm receiving this for christmas! Eeeek! I've noticed in my posts, i could be perceived as a spoilt brat, but belieeeeve me, thats not the case! When my dad goes away, he likes to bring me stuff back etc, and he asked for a list of christmas gift ideas so he could have a ponder:) Anyway, this beauty is literally, making my heart flutter! I promised myself i'd go for more handbaggy handbags, but this just...took my breath away! The colour is so beautiful! I want to be the only one who owns it, ever:L

Please excuse the diddy picture for this one! This blazer is from Miss Selfridge and just looks amaze! The colour will look good on anyone and just the slouchy feel would look so good over a dress and tights, layered up, or with skinny jeans and a nude tee. Just, woah!
This, to me, scrrrrreams Barbie. Growing up, i remember always being told to never idolise Barbie, or any dolls, for that matter, as they were obscenely beautiful and unrealistic to look up to. However, this pink just fills me with childlike excitement and makes me recall scouring the Woolworths (oh, i feel old!) for that specific Barbie doll. Yes, i loved her, and i did give her a hair cut a few weeks later (her long mane was waaaay improved with my short pixie cut and asymetric..well, uneven, i was like 6, fringe:) ) but i was a happy child! This colour by YSL - Rose Culte, just makes me tingle with beauty fulfillment. My pockets aren't deep or maliable enough to stretch to the £22.00 this beautiful colour (and trademark YSL case!) cost, but the knowledge this colour exists bumps up my happiness level 200%!

So thats it for Love list 002 - happy reading! What do you think of my loves? :)

Monday 14th November 2011

ARE YOU READY TO RRRRRUMBLE?!
When i say rumble, i mean read, and when i say ready, i mean, eagerly anticipating this rather mammoth 3-part review? ;)
Anyway, as i have been a naughty blogger, i thought i'd spring 3 amerrrrican products on you!:)

1st up is Covergirl's natureluxe gloss balm in Clay (260).
It's definitely leaning more towards the balm side, as its quite moisturising and doesn't go dry and patchy like other lipsticks do. It may not look it in the rather fuzzy/unflatteringly coloured picture (huzzah photobooth -.-) but it matches the natural colour of my lips to a tee! I also like the sheen it gives, which isn't frosty/shimmery, just very...balmy. 'scuse the awful pun :)
Downsides aren't really a big thing, i mean...the colour is quite autumnal and natural, which i like...but it's quite different to the swatch on the CG website. No issues, i mean i love it! For me, it is the ultimate 'toffee' colour nude. It definitely looks darker in the stick thing, but no issues! i quite like that it doesn't take much to build up the   moisturised look, and its been in my blazer pocket all day long for touch ups!

Next up is CG wetslicks lip gloss in Peaches n Gleam.
Firstly, i would like to say BOO YOU COVERGIRL! In no realm, universe or galaxy is this peach! It leans (well, recategorizes itself) as a corally pink, which, although i like, is not nude/peach. At. All.
Besides this, i actually quite like it. It shows up a bit dark (but i have layered it on top of the natureluxe lip balm :) :) so it comes out darker. It definitely has the wet look, which is...well, what it says it does, but transfers easily and feels quite damp/sticky. I wasn't expecting it to be matte or anything, before the little voice in your head goes "WETslicks - take the hint!", i just hoped it'd be more soft and kissable. ;) Not that i currently have anyone to kiss. Sadly. Working on it though!

Last is CG's lashblast volume mascara  (which is why i took the picture covering..unsuccessfully, my face:) ) its definitely a good mascara, and makes my eyes look rather huuuuuuuge, i just...was expecting fireworks!:L I got it in black/brown, because my hair isn't dark dark so i thought, merh!
Anyway, very good mascara, from a consistent brand, and stays put all day! :) Well, unless you sob with laughter, like i did. Then a small smudge under the eye is forgivable!:L :')

Hopefully it was worth the wait! Coming up soon is Tarte Amazonian blush in dollface- and why it was sooooo worth the price tag! :D

ciaou bellas! have a happy monday!

Sunday 13th November 2011

OMG I have been such a bad blogger!
I totally started watching The Hurt Locker yesters afternoon and forgot to post my reviews :O i'm sosososo sorry! Anyway, today, is the dawn of Lila v2- i'm going to actually put more effort into my appearance- ie actually blowdrying my hair for the first time in 14 months. My abstinance from hairdryers has not gone unrewarded though- my hair is so healthy at the moment, and i haven't used straighteners since early October. I don't use many products on my hair, apart from John Freida's frizz serum, because my hair is so prone to flyaways and stuff, so it just smooths them down. I'm not a big hairspray user, as it just find my hair is naturally voluminous and such things. So, tonight, i'm going to deep condition my hair, and blow dry it. Possibly using a round brush to create a flickly, toussled look. I'm not yet the owner of a Tangle Tweezer (sobsob!) but hopefully Father Christmas has taken note...anyway, yeah!
I'm also going to go through my SNB cure, so yeah!
I'll post the reviews up ASAP!
have a lovely sunday!

Thursday 10th November 2011

Good evening wonderful people!
So I just got off the phone with dad- who had AMAZING news! He'd managed to get the Tarte Amazonian clay blush etc i asked for! :D :D :D :D
In preparation for the arrival of my dream blush (just check out the website! omg! click here - the one in dollface, as i'm hopelessly pale, seems to be perfect!) i thought i'd review my everyday wear ones at the moment! Que posey pictures! (by the way, i plaited my hair after washing, which is why its all crinkly!)

I'm wearing my Dads ancieeeeeent cricket jumper! Its really snuggly<3

Anyway! The ones i use are: GOSH in electric pink (which isn't that electric...hmmm...), a quite plumish, sheer one (for creating cheekbones!) and a collection 2000 bronzer, which is worn through and through, so i refrained from posting a picture...because old, used makeup pictures=ultimate faux pas!
If anyones wondering i'm wearing No7 extravagant lash mascara (the one with that girl who plays Whitney on the ad...good advertising!), collection2000 liquid liner (although you can hardly tell!) and lip doctor lip balm..i got it from a beauty bargain store at a retail park, for like £2, and then got another free! Yay! It gives a slightly frost-ish yet matte-come-shine effect, and it's quite a pretty pale pink, which, on more tan skin may seem a little to white-pink. But, as a milk bottle, it works alright for me!

Now buzz buzz buzzing for getting my makeup from across the pond! Expect reviews soon!
BTW, it's now only like...44 days until christmas! I want it to snowwww so much! Although chap lips aren't quite...attractive, a massive fairisle patten scarf / snood is definitely the ultimate snow-day pick me up!

Ciaou bellas!
